POSTAL RULES

1) The GM chooses six 6-letter words from Chambers Dictionary. The aim of the game is to be the first player to deduce all six of these 'target words'.

2) Each turn, a player sends in one 6-letter word which the GM compares letter by letter against the six target words, awarding a point for each match. For example, if a player tries the word Detour and the target words are Resort, Basket, Gentle, Priest, Mortar and Bottle, his reported score for that turn will be 4-2-2-3-3-3.

3) In the first turn only, each player is allowed to send in three guesses.

4) When a player thinks he knows all six of the target words, he may send his solution to the GM. If any of that player's six words are found to be incorrect, he is eliminated from the game. (Anagrams of the target words are treated as being correct, though.)
