Here are the face to face rules in PDF format.
The postal version of the game is played using these rules and works by rotating the order of play each turn. On the first turn player 1 goes first and player 4 last, on the second turn player 2 goes first and player 1 last, and so on.
The turn report contains the current seating arrangements in the cafe, a reminder of the order of play, plus the the current points value for placing a guest at the bar, which changes as follows: +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, -2, -4, -6, -8, -10, -12, -14, -16, -18, -20 etc.
Players may supply conditional orders.
