The Version 2 map is still being tweaked following lessons learned from two plays of the V1
map, and the latest holidays. On completion the V1 map will be removed from the site.
The Crets are a group of friends who met at Warwick University in the 80s and still go on holiday together every year. The map was designed by two of the Crets, and many of the locations were copied from the back of a t-shirt.
The start locations are "home" towns where the Crets came from (or at least spent a signficant time living at). In the V1 map these proved somewhat unequal, so changes have been made for V2.
The rest of the destinations, with the exception of the University and residences in the centre of the map, are the actual holiday locations. Most of these are in the UK, so the map's geographic bounds are England, Wales and southern Scotland. The foreign trips are special runs requiring planes or ferries.
